Good morning

Just found this site yesterday. My name is Mike Perry. I live in Scottsburg Indiana. I like to fish in the Ohio river, Patoka lake and Hardy lake which is only a few miles from my house. My wife and I like to camp. Kids are grown so just us now. I also try to get to Kentucky lake and lake Cumberland at lease once a year.
Good to meet everybody and this seems like a great site. I am nowhere near looking at everything yet.

hmmmm.....I joined initally for the trapping forum........but after looking around the site for the last day or 2......guess I'm gonna have to shake the dust off the big poles :0a23: . Looks like I'll have 2 addictions now  . I've fished the majority of my life (49 years next month), panfish & cats for the fryer & catch & release for the largemough (8lb is my largest).

I'm in southern Madison Co.....looks like me & Bigcat Daddy71 are neighbors (BTW-let me know if you're related to Rusty). Last few years I've fished mostly at Westwood & since Pine Lakes (pay pit) is so close, I'd fished there a few times out of boredom. Wanting to check-out Providence Pond (since it's only a 15 minute drive) before long, but from reading some of the posts on this site, I might want to check-out some of the "Mighty White".....man, I'd like to tie-into one of them monster cats!

Anyhow.....glad to be here & looking forward to it.....looks like a great site. I'd say the Administrators hit a home-run on this one!

hello, my name is thomas and i live in sullivan, indiana. I found this site last night and still have plenty of reading to do. I mostly fish in the wabash, busroe creek, and at the merom power plant lake. Ive fished as long as I can remember but in the last couple years really started fishing for those monster cats hoping to land one. If anyone is located near me, we need to get together sometime and go fishing.

catseeman....you talking about sullivan county park and lake?...if so i use to fish the back side of the dam. ive caught some decent sized cats outa there. and yes i have fished minnehaha. i recently got a canoe so i mostly go out there and catch bait fish. also there are lots of pits located in the green-sullivan state forest area good for catfish and bluegill. i havent been there in a few years but i recently purchases the permit i need to fish at green-sullivan in a canoe..haha so once it quits raining and warms up. im guna go do some paddeling and hopefully catch a few keepers. the creek (busroe) i was talking about starts at minnehaha and runs to the wabash river just west of carlisle...about 10 minutes south of sullivan. one of my buddy owns some ground on the busroe. so when the water is low i put my canoe in and just float around and scout the area out. then when the water gets high i have some places to try first. where abouts are you from catseeman?

While I'm not new here, I haven't posted much for a few years. I've already talked to some of my Indiana brothers, but thought maybe some of you hadn't read any of my post. So I thought I'd post here. My name is Chuck. I live in Alexandria. I fish almost exclusively for flatheads now. In the past have mostly fished the Mississenewa River around Marion. Have fished White River some. I'm not having much luck the last few years. No flats this year at all. I've been trying different places with no luck yet. Would be happy to hook up with some of my Indiana brothers for some flathead fishing. Lost my fishin buddy awhile back and as you all know when you aren't getting any runs, the nights get awful boring with no one to talk too. It's nice to see there are alot more Indiana brothers on here now than when I use to come here years ago. Hope to talk to more of you guys soon, and make some new friends and fishing buddies. Hope you all do well this season. Good luck, Chuck.

I haven't fished too much for quite awhile , but myself and a buddie have been going here lately again. I prefer to do a little bank fishing on the Wabash, catfish being my preference. I could see right away this is the place to be. From the pictures I can tell you guys know what you are doing when it comes to catfishing.
