YOu guys have helped me a lot. What depths do you guys set your baits at. Do you cast your poles out the back a good ways and just drag the bottom. Or do you set your poles off the side of the boat and put some on bottom and a few off the bottom. Or do you cast out the back and use small floats.

Jason, I let my bait go to the bottom and by using a three way rig maintain contact with the bottom at all times. Vern

Vern,
Does your 3-way rig ever get twisted up? Thanks for the help.

Jason, I don't use a swivel and that helps alot believe it or not. It still will at times twist though. Vern

Vern,
What do you mean by a three way rig?

I let the carilina (sp) rig go to the bottom, then reel up 3-5 turns...just above the bottom. :smile2:
