Lake Overholser

Lake Overholser is located in Canadian County, between Bethany and Yukon on 39th street, OK. It has 1,500 surface acres, 7 miles of shoreline, an average depth of 6 ft, and a max depth of 14. Its the oldest reservoir in the state and has channel cats and hybrid stripers stocked annually. Rod & Reel only and no cast-nets allowed!

Very under rated lake. Recently a 50+# flathead was taken from the lake by a Bethany firefighter. Caught from a tube along some cattails with a homemade bait. I was told avg depth is apx 10 foot. Rocky understructure.
