Lake Foss is located in Custer County, 13 miles N of Clinton, OK. It has 8,800 surface acres, 63 miles of shoreline, has an average depth of 20 feet, and is fed by the Washita River, which is contained behind the the worlds largest earthen
dam. It was impounded in 1961 and is known to have good channels, blues,
flatheads, crappie, sand bass, and walleye.
