Lake Arthur. I mainly fish the lower end of the lake.

This will be the first year to target catfish. Have spent the past 5 years chasing reds, and trout in big lake, but need a change of pace for a while.

And where do you wet a line?

I mainly fish the much criticized/polluted Vermilion River and a few local ponds nearby. Only CPR in the river, just to be on the safe side, haha! I believe I am one of maybe a handful of people that fish the river by boat. (I've never seen anyone else fishing it except from the bank :lol: )

Thanks again for the warm welcome. Who's catching out there? Here in S. Louisiana the bite is starting to heat up. I heard of a couple reports of catches. 70 Hook set catching 300# over night. One afternoon 70#'s of fish caught on rod n reel.

Let me know if ya'll start catching.
