Lowrance or Garmin Gps/sonar

I have just purchased a new boat:big_smile: And I have been looking at the Gps Sonar combos Like lowrance and Garmin. I would like to know if anybody has used these on the Ohio river and what do they prefer. I have never used a Gps sonar combo and I need some info if one is better than the other.

Go to the library or the electronics threads and you can find as much information as you can digest.Better yet go to the Lowrance website and work your way through all the tutorials available and you will be able to make a good informed decision.Asking for opinions on here will simply get you opinions of users of each of the types which is fine but if you really want to become smart on the subject go to the website and study the subject THEN listen to the opinions.:smile2:
