How about that Alatoona!!!

How about that Lake Alatoona, and the non biting fishies. god i have caught NOTHIN there in the three times i went. yeah a few baitfish but they arent real fish...theyre bait, whether live or dead..
Any advice before Spawning?

i have not ever had much luck in allatoona. i did have an internship with the DNR and we electrofished the lake multiply times, there aer loads of fish in there. never caught a catfish there but i know they are in there somewhere. id say to try going up the river a little ways and give it a try. maybe the current will help.

thought of somewhere else if you want to find some structure. directly across from the red top mountain ramp there is a cove and in the back on the right there are about 20 christmas trees anchored in the water. find them on a fish finder.

We never catch much in alatoona. Theres plenty of Bass and gar but as for cats theres not many.
