It was a freezing 18 degrees this morning with the wind blowing around 10 mph to start out the tournament and ended around 42 degrees with the wind around 20 mph making conditions very rough for NCCATS fisherman. There were only 14 teams that come out to test their skills knowing some stayed at their warm and cozy homes. Today's winners used cut shad and the bites weren't too numerous. The winners fished depths of 8 feet to around 20 feet. Fish seemed to be scattered and were hard to mark due to the fish that were caught seemed to have muddy bellies. Muddy bellies meant that they were dug in trying to keep warm in the cold waters.
