does any one know if there are any faltheads in Gunterville lake?

Most definitely. I've not fished it, I fish below the dam to Huntsville, though I read a report of a bass tournament guy hooking and landing a 40+ pounder a month or so back.

Ideal place though. Lots of cover, lots of food (one of the best bream spots in the world, they say), plenty of deep water.

If you ever try it there, let me know how it goes. It's a little far for me to pull the boat but if there are some big fltas there I'd do it!

Hey Jake it looks like there are flatheads in Gunterville. I'll try to come down sometime and we'll find them.

Jake, from Nickajack Dam and down river is Guntersville Lake and I can for sure tell you there are plenty of flatheads to be caught in these waters.

I put out 30 limb lines from the State Park last summer and all I got was 10 gar. I was selective in the placement so I don't know what I did wrong. The bream were fresh and kicking.
