A friend e-mailed this to me (it had been forwarded several times), it said that it was killed some where in Arkansas,where ever it came from that'a a Boone & Crockett spike.

Interesting pic Sam I once called in a huge mulie with a spike on one side and a fork on the other . while calling coyotes .the antlers were similar in size

I believe thats the longest spikes on a buck I have ever seen. Must have been an old deer. I had heard that after a certain age thay start loseing points a the way to a spike. Thats just what I heard don't know how true that is.

If it was killed in the youth hunt or was killed by a hunter under 16 and it was their first deer.

How bizarre looking!! That's something I've never even seen a picture of! That'd be my luck; I finally see something with decent antlers, & it'd be a spike like that!!:lol:

I think thats cool. I love a nice rack as much as the next guy, but i also enjoy odd ones.

i love odd racks when it comes to points sticking every way possible but this is deffinately an exception. thats very unique. wonder if it grew like that normally? as in not any accidents or chemicals?
