Lake Monticello

I'm wanting to try the catfish on lake Monticello.I know there are some lunker bass in there,so I'm hoping the catfsh are the same.Has anyone fished this lake for catfish?

I live 15 miles from lake monticello and have never fished it,but I know of several people who do a lot of bank fishing there in the spring and early summer that catch several cat's from the bank in their spare time after work. they catch up to 10 pounder's on cold worms and minnows in the late afternoon untill dark.
