Fished with 30 jugs thursday afternoon in a large canal near my home and ended up leaving them out over night. Total of 4 fish, 2 bullheads and 2 small channels. Used rabbit liver and home made catfish soap concoction. Next time I am going to buy me a case of frozen pogies and keep them in the freezer, that way I do not need to worry about going try to catch some bream to fishing with.
I think I will also fill 3-4 crawfish sacks with dog food or hen scratch and go place in Lake Des Allemands and see if that will work getting some eaten size fish in the freezer. Anybody else from LA bait holes with dog food?
