i think it an excellent idea,when you take a kid fishing,be it yours or some one
elses kid,you will give them something they will remember the rest of there
life,you will have a new friend,and did something to make your self feel all
good inside.

Mike, it's a Tennessee thing. I found that on the TWRA(Our equivalent to DNR) website.

Bryan, Maybe the B.O.C. can come up with something like that. Our computer experts can come up with an award we to can give to the small children. also will help advertise the B.O.C. just a thought. :D :glare: :D

Capt.,Fl. has about the same thing.Got one each for my grandson and granddaughter.Also they each got a master angler award for bowfin :rolleyes:

FLORIDA
has a program not call first fish,it is an awards program for youth and adult
it can be found at,www.eangler.com. it is a very good program.if for some
reason you dont find it go to www.myflorida.com :)

yeah bryan top has a really good idea about the boc doing a first fish award if y'all need help in putting it together let me know i have alot of free time at work right now

Well, that's a good idea Top. I'll bring it up to Paul and see what happens. It would have to be for dad's or for dad's to give the kids though. Since our minumum sign up age is 13. I'll bring it up and see what happens. Thanks guys.

HEY TO ALL
you may have read,we are having whats turning into a big tournament
here in florida,FEB 18th,we have an unreal response to this already,and it
just was started 1 week ago,there will be a down loadable set of rules and
entry form posted.entrys are all ready passing,what we thought would be
a small thing,man were we wrong.entrys from MARYLAND--MISSISSIPPI and
who knows where,if you have any questions,you can e.mail me.if you are
coming please let me know ahead so i can keep up with my paper work.
NO ONE will go home empty handed,as the welcome pack is going to be
almost worth the entry fee,which is $20.00 per entry,be looking forward
to hearing from you,and meeting in florida.
