i have a friend that has one it works great. he uses it for checking out new areas aand see if he has any fish in his old spots. he bank fishes and for him it is perfect.

I personally dont own one of those..But I do know people who do, and they say they do work pretty well.

sounds good I was wondering how good it would do in current. looks like i might have to look into getting one for x-mas or talk one of my fishing buddies into getting one so we can use his hehe. we mainly bank fish and it shure would be nice to know if their were fish around.

it should be perfect for what you want to use it for. as with anything in a current it will move downriver with it till it hits the end of its line.
