Hay Skydriver, my boat runs pretty smooth on rough water, its runs about 44mph 3/4 throttle, as for gas I'm only using a 1/4 tank of gas each outting, after the engine break-in I'm using small amount of oil. I like my 115 Optimax

Man, my 90hp two stroke SUCKS SOME GAS, and topping off about 10mph less than you. That 4 stroke should pay for itself in short order with the current price of gas and oil.

Way to go. Get it out and enjoy the great times in the new boat.
Also is it the standard Hull? Or the 15 degree hull?
Hope you get to wear the fish out in it.
Pete

Remember it needs to smell like shad before it is a real catfish boat.

Hey, congrats on the new boat Devlyn. I know you are goin to love that sea ark. I have had mine since 01 and i could not be happier. I dont have the 15 % V. They tell me it makes a lot of difference on rougher water. Did you get yours from Shaun? If so did he tell you about the tournament this summer?

Those are great boats. I was thinking about buying one until I measured the space I had to park it in. Had to drop down to a 1754.

Nice rig. It's gonna be hard on ya the first dent you get in the aluminum rail and scratch the sides. A 20' SeaArk is a bear to get lined up at the boat ramp. Give yourself plenty of room. Turning on a dime isn't one if its attributes!
Good Luck

I just got home with my (New to me) Seaark. It is a 2003 model 2072 with a 90 hp. Yamaha Four Stroke. SS prop, spare prop, spare tire.
Really clean Rig with 100 hrs. on it. I have been looking for a used boat like this for a year and half or more, if you can't tell I'm excited!!!!
I wish it was a VP (it is the 3 degree MV) with a 115 hp. but I think I got a really got deal so I am happy!!!!!

DHogue, how does your boat run? How fast is it and are you happy with the power and gas mileage of the 115 Optimax? I met Sean last week at Cook's and I'm getting ready to buy the same boat. I'm trying to decide which engine. Thanks.
