I got him with my 30-06 at about 100 yards. And I didnt have him mounted if you can believe it. After the fact when some taxidermists found out they all wanted to do it for half price or free, but when I called and said I had a monster most laughed and quoted 300-500 bucks. A friend talked me into letting him do a european mount, so ill show that when I get it back.
The year before that I got a 150 class muzzleloader buck. Ive yet to take any bucks with my bow but have taken a couple does. Needless to say Im very selective when it comes to bucks.
