Has anybody on here ever tried or has got mule deer to eat a food plot or in a feeder. If so how did you do it and what did you use. I have been trying to attract them to my feeder with corn but I dont get hardly any activity out of it.

Try useing a large jar of peanut butter. Take the lid off and nail it to a tree. Screw the jar back on the lid. Cut a small hole in the bottom of the plastic jar so the peanut butter will drain and you will see that the deer will come and lick. Good luck if you choose to try.

In western Kansas and eastern Colorado they love the winter wheat and alfalfa fields. If you've got the space, a food plot will do a lot better job of keeping them close than anything else. If you plant it, they will come.
