I love the idea of this, thanks Vertoik.

Last year & the year before I was HUGE into deer cams. I've had as many as 12 out in the woods. Mostly get small bucks, a ton of doe & turkey, Here are some of my more favorite pics. (I just sold my last deer cam  I may get back into the game next year.)

We have had a good acorn crop this year, has that slowed the activity at the feeders?

To be honest when I saw your pics it got me pumped up a little. For some reason my hunting desire has been real low this year.

Jack,

even though the acorn are everywhere, I am not sure the deer have been eating them as much as they have been at the feeders. That feeder corn is easier to get! In my opinon the Big bucks wont come into the feeders as I think they are more leary than the does, so maybe they are eating the acorns.

We had the biggest acorn production this year that i can ever remember. About a month ago, you were brave to go out in the woods, it was like a hail storm. I had my feeder going, and i finally just let it run out of corn. I had about 100lbs of corn on the ground, nothing but the squirrels and coons were touching it. I had 1 deer picture in about 3 weeks there. I even sat and watched a small buck walk right beside all that corn on the ground and he was eating acorns instead. They wont touch my corn if there is still natural food around.

Guys we used to have all our better pics on a website, but I couldnt renw it this year. We still have some very nice pics that I dont have on my computer yet. I've been out of the hunting mood this year. I sold my "Cheap" Stealth cams & got dif cams, that somehow went bad in a couple weeks, then my feeders went out, etc.... Sort of blew my hunting fever. I will get it back after Dec. We have the cams out ll year usually. It was a blast! Our cabin is 2 1/2 hours from our house, we would go down just to check our cams!

TURKEY..... Gee you ought to see our turkey pics!

Great pictures. We mostly get the hind end of the deer so we can't tell what they are really. What deer cam do you like the best?

IN my hoest opinon w/ all things considered you cant go wrong w/ a Stealth Cam. Several Reasons:

They are "Cheap" (if you can call them that). I had one cam stolen, so I was out $60, not a big of deal as if I was out $280 for one of the dig ones.

In my opinon 35mm gives you on the average a better pic that digital, unless you go up to atleast 2.0 Meg Dig.

Downside: 35mm film must be developed, dig are nice you can just upload them to the computer.

I would recomend Stealth Cams to someone who was just getting started. My goal next year (or this winter) is to have Two Cuddleback Dig Cams, I have heard nothing but GREAT things about them, but hey are over $300 each.

Wow Bryan, don't know how I missed this before. Dang, if you are having trouble getting in hunting mode this year, you should only need to look at those pics!! Those are some nice deer. We are seriously looking at sticking with Stealth cams here too. We have one now and two of the moutrie cams. We want to have at least 2 more for next year, thinking of going with digitals next time though.
