i read that there was some flatheads in there. has anyone herd this?

yes there are some flatheads in there. Up to 40lbs. I've seen. I don't think many fish for them as most are caught by accident.

hum mite just have to come fish that lake again next summer. i was born in celina,and spent alot of time over,with my dads family, there while growing up. i bet we know some of the same people. lol small world

what about the river below the lake, have you ever tried that? there are some saugers in there over this way.

the river off the spillway has produced flats to upper mid 20's but it is only 20 ft. wide and 4 ft. deep at most with no structure to find and about a bazillion dink channel cats. I have tried it once, current was decent and it was a pain trying to pitch 3-5 oz sinkers with a 6500. Didn't use live bait as most that have caught them there used cut shad and the dink channels ate off every piece of bait I pitched out. Maybe my boat ride next year will want to try and find them in grand lake.

They have caught some nice walleye and crappie at the end of the spillway. Have even seen a nice muskey too.

Bet it was not Ohio that put them there too.
