I landed "my" record tonight

Fishing Bush hooks and trotlines, in the Altamaha,
I landed this 45 lbs 2 oz flathead, with the help of my Jack Russell and a lot of patience......... oops I'l have to download them in the morning......gotta resize

Paul It is around 9 ft..lots of trash and debris floating out of the swamps. Running that river at night is a harrowing experience!! To say the least.

GREAT FISH !! And Congratulations on the New PB.Thank God for he BOC. It's how I get My Daily Catfish Fix. Because here in Iowa the lakes are all frozen over and there are big Ice flows running down th Missouri River,and the temp. is only 6 degrees out. Guess I'm just a Whimp or I would be out there drilling holes in the Ice.LOL. J.D.

im in jackson ga. its between macon and atl. i live about a mile from high falls lake.

im in the process of tring the find a boat i sold mine today 16 ft with 25 hp. like to find one with a 40 or so to get back up the river with trot line stuff and weight and heavy bait box.

I couldn't count on my motor anymore, and thats a long ways down to get back up the river to get stranded.I like to fish rod and reel down there to about 2 to 3 am in the morning and bait up my trot line and limb hooks again and put it in the wind and get on back up the river.
