Im still here too... just doing a little more lurking and a little less posting right now.
Yep... the Georgia gathering was pretty good.. especially for the first Georgia gathering ever as far as I know of. Im still surprised at the diastance that guys like DH,Keith,Bob Paul and Mark drove to join us but Im betting that Paul has the official "GREATEST DISTANCE TRAVELED TO ATTEND A GATHERING" AWARD....lol For those who dont know.. Paul was in Iraq the week before....lol

Ill post this again since we are starting all over. I live in Albany, GA. Its in the southwest corner of Georgia. I primarily fish for Flatheads in the Flint river which runs right thru the middle of Albany. I fish out of a Bass Boat and am limited to fishing the waters above our dam due to the shallow water and terrible rocky bottom of the lower river... thats why its called the Flint river.. its full of hard Flint rock !!!
Anyone wanting to tag along with me is welcome to. Anyone wanting just advise on the Flint is welcome to that too.. but dont expect me to tell you where MY spots are....lol I also do a lot of spring Crappie fishing at Lake Eufuala (Very southwest corner of Ga. and Al. border) so anyone wanting to get together or share info on Lake Eufaula Crappie fishing is welcome as well. Just send me a PM or email and we'll get it together.

Take care..... Sam

Hey folks, got a daughter moving to the great state of Georgia, Atlanta area. Expect I'll be spending some time down there now and again. Any suggestions as to where a Yankee can go down there, other than the obvious. Somewhere in the Fayetteville area.

Tribble Mill park has a good lake called Lake Chandler. Try local parks and rivers, heck, you can probly catch anything in those local ponds.
also try the coosa. good spot
