Headed back home from an evening hunt in my rental car (wife hit deer in her car so she was using mine while hers was in the shop) a doe runs in front of me WHAM! a mile later this buck runs in front of me Wham! I'm holding the ole 250 sav as a spoof so I could fire up my buddies!

ive gotten many of steak from the grill. and heck you can even get a mount from that one.

i found a doe that was hit a a month or so back. she was taking her last few breaths when i found her. she weighed 75-80#. very small. i got 14# of good un bruised meat from her witch i ground with 4 # of bacon and made breakfast sausage using texas selects wild game pan sausage mix:cool2:
