A great loss......

Today, Jan. 1, 2007 at 5 pm the man that instilled in me the desire to hunt and fish passed away. He taught me to be an ethical hunter and fisherman. He taught me that it was not always about killing game or catching fish but the quality of the pursuit and giving the animal a fair chance was everything.
I will sorely miss him. He was my father.

Its tough to loose a parent and just when you feel the world has gotten you down as low as you can go something that your Father said or did will brighten your day!

Cathooker, I can truly feel your sorrow & realize the suffering from your great loss.

I can tell from your words that you were able to spend a great deal of true quality time with your father, that is alot more than many can say & regret now that they didn't.

I have spoken these words before & I feel it time to do so again, "Lives are lost but memories are forever"

As times heals wounds, you will be left with only good thoughts & knowing that your father can look down upon you, knowing he raised a good son.
