Anybody fishing Wheeler? Christmas Trip?

I was wondering if anyone was fishing at Wheeler Dam lately. Give a report on Skips and Cats. I was thinking of fishing above the Dam next week while off work. I guess you have to put in at 2nd Creek. My Vhull wont go in at the old ramp above the Dam. Also I might have to round up a partner. Chime in,

I had surgery last Friday on my neck or I would certainly be up for a trip. Good luck and post how you do I need some good reading material while I am laid up for the next 3 months or so.

Have not fished Wheeler since last week in October.Had a buddy go up Thanksgiving and had very little luck catching bait.

We went the 3 days after Thanksgiving, and caught 4 hogs. My buddy had no trouble catching skipjacks at the base of the dam. I caught skips there last week. Hope they stay around.
