Cold water blue catfish

any you guys try for them this year, i was planning on it but ended up selling my boat.

Myself and TA2D were hoping to try this year, but it seems that I can't seem to stay here long enough (military temporary duties,) to do any. Hopefully on my Xmas break we can try, but it looks like we're in store for snow.

did you go suddawg? I had plans to go to the river and try for a blue last night, but my partner and I chickened out...too cold right now! but I also have a small sandpit that I can fish that has some nice blues in it...wonder if they can be caught through ice?

sure you can catch them through the ice. I know people who ice fish the missouri river, though I question their sanity they still catch fish.
