we are from andalusia and my brother john is 44 and he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. He is my best fishing partner, best hunting partner and i love him. Please pray for us that their diagnosis is wrong. We normally meet at day break to go hunting or fishing or to drink coffee and to talk about going . I have just left the hospital and the sun was breaking and it reminds me of the times we always meet when the sun was breaking in the morning. Please pray for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so sorry to hear this heartbreaking news. I truly know how you feel! I lost my brother-in-law back in 2002 to terminal lung Cancer. I will have you in my prayers Dan that the Doctors are wrong,if they are not I will pray that everything that can be done will be done! Just a shought! Have you considered taking him to a hospital that specializes in the treatment of Cancer? Like Cancers of America or MD. Anderson? Lots of folks swear by them. Prayers are sent brother from NW Missouri. Welcome to the BOC!:sad2:

the biopsy is back. John will be at uab december 26 at 8:00 am . the local doctor says that he thinks it can be treated and the rest removed and cleaned up. This is a better report than we thought we were going to receive. thank you for the prayers however please keep them coming. the reports we receive this week will be very important. uab is one of the top in the area however if we do not hear what we want to we will be going to hd anderson for a second opinion. once again thanks to everyone.

thanks for the prayers. the last trip to uab they said the colon cancer can be removed and treated with chemo and radiation. if this did not work they said we could go to pittsburg. my family said lets go to pittsb. now. my brother, his wife and my wife will be on a private jet on wednesday. johns appt is thursday at 1:00 pm. we think they will remove the tumor and do a procedure called iphc, they will pump heated chemo treatment in his abdominal cavity this is because he has some spots on his abdominal cavity. johns doctor had been doing test for 2-3 years trying to find this cancer and could not, all test had came back neg. yes, he had ct scans colon checks and etc, and his doctor is very competent. what i am now saying is if anyone has any idea they could have cancer please have a check-up. please continue praying for john, his family, his doctors and for all cancer patients. thanks dan

thanks for the prayers. John was admitted to the er on friday night for nausea and fluid on his abdominal cavity. he, his wife and my wife took a private jet to pitts.pa on sunday. he is seeing dr. bartlett in pitts, this dr is one of the top abdominal cancer drs in the nation. they are flying back thursday 1-11-07. the doctors did remove the fluid from the abdominal cavity which improved his appetite, he wanted some grits so they sent him back to alabama. he will stay in alabama for three months to take chemo at uab to shrink the tumors. then he will return to pitts. dr bartlett will remove the tumors and do the iphc treatment at that time. dr b. is one of the drs that developed the procedure.if anyone is interested in this procedure go to www.pmppals.org (http://www.pmppals.org). once again thank you for your prayers and we will be eating grits and fried chicken tomorrow nite.
