On the last afternoon of the second gun deer season here I got this bad boy, biggest on I've killed, about 300 yards with my old Ruger 30/06. He was facing me and I hit him high in the neck with a 150 grain Ballistic Tip handload, the bullet exited his back between the shoulders leaving a fist sized hole, needless to say he dropped in his tracks.

I'm still looking for my first yote. They just started showing up here a few years ago. The owner of the farm I hunt on said he's been seeing one. If he gets within 300 yards on my Ruger M77 I'm going to ruin his pelt!
