hey all new to boc and just wanted to say hi to all the iowa peoples this site rocks!!! never knew that this site was even here but im glad i found it so anyone know of any good fishing holes in S.E. iowa around osky or ottumwa area?

New here myself. I didn't know about this site either.
Lots of nice folks here.
Sorry never fished around oscy or ottumwa. I'm about 50 miles east at Mt Pleasant.
I'm getting a lot of ideas about different ways to fish areas I do know.
Can't wait til spring.Ain't gonna be a catfish safe around here :lol:

Welcome Lucas (another Iowegian, cool)! Around Osky or Ottumwa you might check out Lake Rathbun (Appanoose), Lake Darling (Washington) or Lacy Keosauqua SP (Van Buren) just for a couple of ideas. Enjoy the BOC, great site!

Welcome to the BOC Lucas, I would try below the Dam at Ottumwa downstream to St Francisville Mo. not only will you hang into some nice flatheads but the occassional blue. Hope this helps
