Woohoo Opening Day....what A Day!

i got my second deer ever....a 110lb doe and my dad got a BIG BUCK in the evening.... it is a 9 pt... IT has got some character......
it was great tho.....

and that is my dads first deer....

a 9 point buck..... at the check station he said that was the 3rd biggest deer they have seen all day and we got there at 7:55.... they close at 8 lol

so i think it was a productive day IMO

Congrats to you and your dad Jeff, sounds like you guys had a great hunt.
I'm marinating a half dozen racks of deer ribs as we speak to put on the smoker today. Makes me hungry just thinking about it. Time to get the smoke rolling soon, enjoy your harvest....

heres a pic of my dads monster...it doesnt give justice to how big he is.... also the pic is like 340x (some other small number) pixels... so lol but its a beast.... im on the right i think.....well im the one without a beard.... and im taller lol
