View Full Version : 2006 Not so monster buck
Got him today, was gonna call it a day and I was going towards my Jeep. I had a scent wick on my shotgun to disperse the scent as I was walking along. I came up on this buck at about 20 yards and he didn't even notice me because he was on the scent trail I had laid about 30 minutes prior. I got to take 3 shots! The first two went high ( I haven't shot this gun much ) and I landed the third right behind his left shoulder, he took about 6 steps and called it quits. Its a typical 9 point there is just no mass to the rack. In the last two pictures there is a comparison of my rack from 1996 and from today. Enjoy! That is a Motorola RAZR for size comparison.

What do you mean not much mass? Where I live, one out of a hundred
1 1/2 year old bucks might have that kind of antler on his head. Great looking deer. Congrats!
