I've finally filled a tag since I shot my first deer 6 years ago!!! 5 years of eating tags stinks worse then spoiled chicken livers. but lessons learned, earned me an educated deer for the freezer. I have a permit to hunt the local public parks and since the deer have to contend with hikers all day long.... their very hard to hunt. Well Thanks to God, my scentlok suite & dead down wind.... I managed to shoot her broadside at 15 yards while sitting on my little stool behind a deadfall. The wind was blowing my scent right in her face at one point as she was moving past me since she came out from behind me & not from where I thought she'd come from. All she did was pause for a minute before continuing on, destined for my freezer.
