Took my wife hunting [Archive]

I took my wife deer hunting for her first time this weekend. She has a single shot 243 rifle witha 4x9 scope. She killed this 7 point with a one shot kill.just behind the shoulder.

Congrats to the wife. My wife shoots a .243 bolt action. Killed two deer with it last year.

thanks for all the congrats guys. I took her hunting Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. On saturday one came in from behind but she never could see it but heard it snort at her. Then sunday evening this one came out through the cutover with about 10 minutes of shooting time left and she made a great shot and dropped him in its tracks. I told killing a nice buck on only her 2nd time hunting is really great but told her it isn't allways this easy. lol
