dad has been busy with some other things and finally got out bowhunting for the first time this year last night.he came home with his personal best.a nine pointer 20 inch outside spread the deer weighed 230 field dressed.

Hey Jason454ci - where abouts you do your hunting? Reason I ask is I made the 2 hour drive last weekend and hunted a place off Carr Rd. just east of the airport of Rt. 40. Deer and turkeys were moving - saw 4 bucks in 2 days including a nice 10 that was a good shooter, but no shots. I was hunting from the ground though; had I been in the stand I would have had a shot as he was within 30 feet at one point, just too much brush to that side of my position:sad2:

Thinking of headed up again Sunday morning and hunting all day then driving home that night. If not, probbaly head up the following weekend. I slept in the cab of my truck Friday night and forgot my sleeping bag - cold!!!!
