Welcome aboard g-man, I am a native of Georgia, Augusta as a matter of fact. I get up around Atlanta when I visit my brother, but not that often, let me check with him on some good cat spots and I will post later. He lives in Covington.

Not a catfishing story....but,

I did take my 82 year (young) dad fishing today with crickets and worms....and we fished off the dock at Lake Acworth, in Acworth GA.

Temp's in mid 60's....sun was shining, lake was glimmering with millions of diamonds and.... I laugh as i say this but....we caught the smallest bream/blugills I had ever witnessed in my 54 years of fishing! We both laughed and kinda knew that the fish were not the reason for being out here today!!!
