I haven't tried night fishing yet, but I was wondering if it is better to go when there's a full moon?

yes it is because there is some mor light the fish seam to be more active

Imo No because I think that if fishing from bank then the fish can see shadows more and the bait fish can see in turn causes them to scatter faster when big fish are chasing them.

This is just my opinion I have caught fewer/ smaller fish when the moon is full.
