Fall Fishing

I am relatively new to fishing on the Mississippi, that is I've only fished it this summer. Do you fish the same in the fall as you would in the summer or do the fish move to shallower depths. I currently fish below Lock 26 (MPLD) below Alton, any advise or comments would be greatly apprecicated.

I am too far south from where you fish, you can prolly post in your state and get some good advice. we dont have locks & dams down here and i am sure temps are different. but I do know it is hard to beat the MIGHTY MISSISSIPPI when it comes to catfishing ! Good Luck and be safe out there !
