thats three nice fish.I just wish I could catch a years worth of fish that adds up to one of those beauts.
Awesome catch Abu65!!! What end of the lake did you fish, lower or upper end? Did you guys hire a guide or did you bring your own boat? WattsBar is a super lake for BIG blues and flatheads.. I used to fish it a lot but have been fishing Chickamauga (next lake down from WattsBar) for the most part this year. Again... glad to hear you guys had a good trip and got on the big boys.

Shannon, congrats on the catch. My personal best blue cat was caught at Watts Bar while fishing with Drc3.

We probably fished about 18 hours in the 2 & half days we were there. Thats not counting fishing for bait. We caught several other fish that I didnt put on here in the 2 to 25 lbs. range.

Try Tom Evans at TomEvansOutdoors.com.... he's by far the best on Ft. Loudon or WattsBar lake. I hired him about three years ago and caught 20-50lb blues all day long. He will teach you a lot about hunting those trophy cats, my catfishing has improver 500% since fishing with him.
