Finally had a good rain here about a week ago, things greened up and the storm blew some acrons down and the deer disappeared from the feeders from about 5 days ago till last night, these are off two different camreas, the better ones still haven't shown up, but at least some are come'n back in.

Sam: In these pictures I see the body size showing up more, there are really going to fill out now with the nuts. I bet the big ones we don't see are really something. Good job. Caring for the earth and it's critters, don't get any better.

LOL... Sam you have nice Coons also, we can't forget them.

Yay! More pictures! I was beginning to have withdrawals...couldn't wait for some more. My favorites are still the doe w/the fawns. Those are just so neat. Second favorite would be the deer pawing the food out of the feeder! What is on the ground? Corn, or is it a bran of some sort? We started using some rice bran last year, & did pretty good with it. Glad they came back...I hope they stay awhile. "Play it again, Sam"! (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)

The feed is just the cattle feed we use here on the farm, it does have soy hulls in it, that's what you see on the ground. They clean it up pretty good off the ground, but the corn meal and soy hulls kind'a turn the ground white.

Thanks again for the pictures Sam. I see where someone has cleared a shooting lane in that last set of pictures. I bet a tag gets filled there before the sun gets up good on October 1.
