i got second place again to john shultz this weekend, he had 10 fish for 49 pounds, i had 10 fish for 45 1/2. he also won big fish it went 10 pounds. i did do some trolling and caught a few but i forgot to charge the trolling battery and it died on me, so it was back to still fishing.

2nd place aint nothing to be mad about just means that your as good as the other guys but just got out weighted

yes he did, sure would like to have his boat. i have use his boat and it great for trolling. by the way i have used those bobbers you gave me and they worked great.

Glad the bobbers worked out. If I had a 20 mile long extension cord, I'd charge your battery too!
Were you guys in the Miss or did you go up a branch? If this 1st and 2nd scenario keeps up, I'm going to have to come down there and whoop you both.

yes we where in the miss, oh bye the way your more than welcome. there will be two more in september, the 19 & 26. this will be day tournaments starting at 6:00 or 7:00 am and going to 1:00 or 2:00 pm. bring it on.

Could I ask what technique you used with the bobber method?? I have a lake here that I think that may work well in.

i use bobbers or floats six inches up from my hooks when i troll or drift fish, this keeps the bait up off the bottom. the whole set up is sinker slide with a 1 oz sinker, barrel swivel, then a 32 inch leader, number 8/0 circle hook. place the float or bobber six inches up from the hook. hopes this helps you out.
