Hey my freind. Keeyaawww I am from Ball, and my Pop he lives in Mansura, I am from Hessmer area and I fish da Big Red, around Alex and just started fishing from Effie area. We did pretty good da udder night(we fished all night) and da biggest was about 10-12 pounds. Hello all.
I stumbled across BOC while surfing the Net. I live in Baton Rouge. I have been out of fishing since I left False River in 1990. I split most of my time then between False River and Kelper Lake just west of Bienville. My grandparents lived in Bienville.
Well after far too long away from the lakes I am getting back into it. I have a 13 yr old girl and twins 7 yr olds, one boy one girl. They are begging to go fishing. I take'm to a pond near by but I want to get back into it.
Well thats my story. I hope to have some pics to post soon. Hope to see you on the lake.

Welcome to the BOC William and John. This has been a great group of people. We had a gathering in the spring, 50 people showed up and it was like a family reunion. If you can, we're going to be having a fall gathering just south of Bossier City the weekend of Sept 29. Check out the thread R4 Fall under the gatherings site. Ya'll would be more than welcome and it's very appropriate for families. Matter of fact, we're having a tournament and there's a kids section for it. I know that there's also an active group down in your area but don't know if they have an gatherings.
