I know what a majority of memebers use. But I though it would be cool to see what the guys in PA use.

My main combo consists of:
Shimao aeroglass rod
Okuma Classic Pro 302
Berkley Big Game 25lb
Gama octopus 8/0 for gills
Carolina rig.

I have several combos I use for flatheads
2 Six foot six ST. Croix paired with Silstar baitrunners.
2 Ugly Stick 8 foot big water rods paired with Silstar baitrunners.
1 Six foot six St.Croix paired with an Abu Garcia 6601ssc3.
20,30,and40 pound Trilene Big cat line.
5/0 ,7/0 ,and 10/0 Eagle Claw Kahle hooks.
Carilona rig.

My Flathead combos are as follows: 9 ft. Catmaxx rod - med/hev action w/ Garcia Mitchell 403 reel (three of them). 10ft. Catmaxx rod - hev action w/ Garcia Mitchell 489 reel 9 (two of them). 9 ft. Berkley Glowstick - med/hev action w/ Garcia Mitchell 403 or 387 (three of them). 8 1/2 ft. Uglystik Bigwater Rod - med. action with Garcia Mitchell 307 or 407 reels (three of them).
Line - 20#, 30# & 40# Berkley Big Game Solar. Also 30# Stren Magnaflex.
Hooks - Eagle Claw Kahle from 3/0 up to 10/0 and also Gamakatsu Octopus Circle 3/0 to 6/0 ( I need to get some bigger ones) or Diachi Circles.
Sinkers - No Roll in 1, 1 1/2, 2 & 3 oz. Sometime egg sinkers in the same weights.
Rig - Usually Carolina.

A pair of Okuma EB50 baitfeeder reels
25 lb Berkley big game line
3/0 gamakatsu circle wide gap hooks
1 oz. bank sinkers
A self modified carolina rig
live and dead bluegills and garlic liver for the occasional channel:big_smile:

Fenwick HMX 6' 6" light tackle paired with a Shamano Stradic 1000FH 2-4 lb. test
St.Croix Premier 8' flyrod with an Okuma Airframe 5wt. using Orvis Wonderline and Berkley Transition for leader. Froghair strike detectors and #16 hook for floating maggots or hoppers (sometimes Powerbait honey worms and chartruse maggots)
There, Thats my arsanal. I have more but thats what I'm currently dragging to the Creek/River! :lol:

I use 2- 6' medium action graphite rods. and 1-- 7' med-hvy ugly stick rods. spinnging gear only with 10' test. how I rig them depends on the bait. but it usually involves a treble hook and a egg sinker. I dont have any flats in my area, just channels and bullheads so I dont have to go heavy duty.

I use exclusively silver thread excalibur 20,30lb.(30lb. tests much higher than 30lb.)I use 80,130 lb. dacron leader
i like kahle hooks 5/0,7/0,9/0 hookup ratio is exellent also like mustad big gun ultrapoint in 6/0 ive penatrated skulls with these.
bank sinkers 2-4 oz. attatched to a large barrel swivel w/zip tie so lead doesnt fray my line
my favorite combos are shimano baitrunner 6500 w/10 ft. berkly glow stick.& abu garcia 7000C3 W/9ft. cabelas king kat pro.
