a friend and i went fishing at cave run last night. we went to the spot where a guy caught a 62 lb flathead last week. we arrived at the lake at about 6:00 p.m. we stayed until 11:00 p.m. we would have stayed longer but i had promised to camp out with my son. we weren't getting many bites, anyway. all we caught was a big soft shelled turtle, a small drummer, and alot of bluegills to use for bait. my friend, david, was fishing for bluegills with a light action rod and reel and something broke his 8 lb line. he was a little upset about that. all and all we had a good time though. it is just nice to get out of the house.
