my son and i went out tonight for a couple of hous and caught 2 nice shovelheads to fry up one was 13lb and teh other was 9lbs now dont anybody get mad because we didnt release but the pond we was fishing the owner said we had to take what we catch i think he wants to thin out the flatheads some :D and thats ok with me we was using live goldfish about 6 inches

Grats on the catch man. Never personally caught a flattie yet but then again Ive never tried for them. I got a sweet creek by my house that i hope to flathead fish before the weather gets to sour. Ive seen others pull flats out of the creek but ive only caught channels and turtles.
