3 inches of rain in Iowa

Hi all according to my guage, we have had 3 inches of rain this week in Keokuk, Iowa, we desperately needed this. I went down to the river and the ole Mississippi is up a foot or better. going out tomorrow and catch me a kittyfish. Later Andy

Clif take a bucket of water with you to the river the fish will be jumping trying to get to your bucket. LOL

Well I wenr out today for a couple of hours, and I caught 3 at 2-4 pound range, had to get back early. I think I'd have had a better day if I was there longer. I hadn't even got to my honey hole yet. LOL Later Andy

Around our area we have to take a bucket of water just to have water to fish in. :big_smile: :smile2: :big_smile:

I'm glad someone is getting some rain. Our lakes and rivers around here are so low, it's getting hard to find a good place to bank fish.

I think some of the boaters are even having trouble because there isn't enough water to get the boats in the water.
