great pics as always! looks like you will be adding a new one to the wall this year.
Nice pics Sam. Thanks for sharing. the one with the triple brow tine you need to let go for about 4 more years He's going to be a dandy.
this is one eye last year, had some of him before he broke his antler off, but couldn't find it quick. He was blind in that eye before he broke his antler.Be interesting to see what he becomes, if he makes it another year.

What type of cull factor do yall use? We let spikes walk and shoot the messed up horns. It is a personal thing for our club on bad horns, but I have been letting all 6 walk and taking 8 or better except on the cull deer. I cull web horn, lop sided, and just plain old bad looking racks.
Can't shoot anything in Arkansas unless it has at least 3 points on one side, some places 4, except for the youth hunts, they can shoot about anything.
Here we pretty much let the kids take whatever they get a chance at, us old farts are too lazy to shoot anything but a sure nuff good'en. Seems like the good'ens pretty much take care of themselves, I get lots of pics till the batchlor groups bust up, then may never see most of these again, still its nice to know they're out there. I never dreamed we had as many or as good a bunch of deer as we do until I got the trail cameras, and this id here on the farms we live and work on every day.

what brand and type of camera do you have? I have never used one, but I have thought of getting one for Christmas.

great pics, makes my mouth water and my finger itch looking at em:lol:
8-10-06 This is the same set-up as the first bunch of pictures yesterday, except a different bunch of buck, some are the same but most are different. I've found if you leave a camera set in on the same feeder for several days, some hit it everyday, some every other day and some others only once ever 3 or 4 days, usually the big boys are in that last group. Sorry there's so many it was hard to cull down to these had 175 pics on this camera last night

I have a feeling your not even seeing your "big bucks" Around here the larger deer avoid feeders like the plauge. IMHO feeders will produce big bucks only during the rut because does love free food and big bucks love does! They still won't come straight in they will circle the feeder waiting on the does coming and going.

Got that right, I hardly ever hunt right at a feeder unless I'm taking a kid or someone new to hunting that just wants to see deer, but during the rut when the does come in the big boys will hang around the edges. When the velvet sheds and the bachelor groups bust up I'll stop getting pictures of most of these bucks, except a few and then only in the dark, I'll not get a buck picture in the daylght from the middle of Sept until the middle to the end of Jan.
Last year we had lots of good pictures, but a dandy non-typical was killed within a 1/4 mile of one feeder and my son saw a typical 10 point that he swore would go 160+ (and he's killed 3 over 140 ) within 200 yards of anoher feeder that we had no pictures of and had never seen before.
I still like play'n with the cameras, though, I never dreamed we had as many or as good a deer here till we got the cameras.

Those bachelor groups let you know what kind of genetics you have on your farm, and from what I've seen you have some good ones, and the photos are really fun to look at! Keep em coming! Keep an eye on that spike I have a feeling he will make a fine deer in a few years. The myth a spike will always be a spike is complete bull!!
