Flat Rock Dam On The Schuylkill River

Please Need Directions From Pottstown To Flat Rock Dam And Also For The Boat Ramp, Thanks

If you are going 76 east towards Phiily, it's the GLADWYNE exit.

When you come off the ramp from 76 make the left and go down you will come to an old train bridge that fits one car , to your right is where the dam. you can only make a left after the train bridge.on the right is parking for the dam. I think if you keep going after the left you should run into the ramp, but not possative.

now I have a question. Where is the good spots at the flat rock dam? I fished the top , and I mean the top of the dam and no luck. Please let me know where the spots are best to fish.

fishing on top is futile.

Go to the manyunk side and wade out in front of the dam

Well Tan I fished Flat Rock Dam last night and what a night. Me and my brother inlaw went about 8pm an within the hour we had 3 bull cats Thats what I call them as soon as I figure out how to post photos I'll put them on. They were 2 to 3 lbs, then as you can see in this photo of mine I pulled this flathead in. It was 7 1/2 lbs. Caught it on cut bait, the others were chicken liver.
