Got my eye on a goodun

This buck was with a bachelor group of 7, he was the biggest, and is pretty good size for around here. I will try to get him bow season before he gets out of his routine and disappears. LOL

mac,mac,mac. leave bambi alone.lol. i let deer that size walk every year. just kidding i hope you get him. you have to put your sights between your eye and the deer before your eye does anything. i've had my eye on several and thats all i've had.lol good luck!!!!!!!!!!

Mac that is a dandy of a deer. I'm no expert but by looking at the pic i'd age him at 2-1/2 yrs with a inside spread of 17". A lil young for where I hunt at but I don't have a lot of hunting pressure. We try to take our deer no younger than 3-1/2 with a 10 point min. Unless we're taking out culls. Still a good deer though. Wish ya luck getting him.

Nail him mac!!!! It seems like the first day of bowseason is usually the best time to nail a big buck. He's still in his feeding routine, not spooked and usually folks haven't trespassed onto your spot yet!! Good luck, I hope you stick him.
