this line is bar none the best braided line out there .. i personally use 65lb test for the big blues .. i have never once had a fish break me off with this and believe it or not when you get snagged its harder than you can imagine to get it to break .. i usually end up just cutting it with a knife

contrary to the rumors this line does not cut into the rod eyes anymore .. if it does you may want to pick up a new rod with quality eyes

Although I do not use it on my cat rods, I do use it on everything else. I agree with you on that one.I have always been a firm believer in Fireline, and it keeps getting better.

i'll have to try it out then. i ended up going with a braided line called power pro. it's a braided microfilament line. it's got really bad memory though. i'll have to wait and see after i get it in the water.
