Filled this feeder 3 days ago, checked it the next day, no pictures, feeder empty, filled it again, checked it the next morning, feeder empty, no pictures. So I figure its so hot the camera is too far from the feeder, I fill the feeder and move the camera real close, checked it this morning and this is what was on it.

I removed coons off a gentlemans feed this past trapping season. Along with a few other unwanted animals. They were the fattest and best coons caught all season. I you would like info on how we did it, PM me. It was simple, if your state allows it.

I have a squirrel feeder in my yard. One night just sitting on my deck I counted 32 coons. When I read your post I know what it was before seeing the pictures. By the way good pictures is that all you got out of it ? Ha, Ha, Try setting out some live traps and move them some place else. Good luck....:big_smile_2:

I trapped coons for a several years and a guy at work wanted them for stew. We had a company dinner/potluck and he brought stew. I never thought about it and dug in and it was good. I then was told what it was and it deterioriated quickly. Other than a little greasy it was good. If I was hungry I would eat it again in a second. Another guy wanted beaver tails and I never did get to taste that but have heard it is good.

So sorry Sam, but I am  right now. Coons, coons, and more coons! Maybe if you're lucky we'll actually get to see a pic of some deer sometime soon, since they are DEER feeders. Guess the little masked bandits really could care less:cool2:

I had tied this feeder to a tree to keep it from swinging in the wind and setting the camera off, but it made it too easy for the coons, moved the feeder away from the tree yesterday, miss put the coons. Won't keep'em out, but they will have to work at it now.

Boy howdy look at the slick fur on that coon. I would sure love to put him on a board this year. I hate to tell the folks that keep saying move them, but where are you going to move them? To next hunting clubs down the road and there deer feeders? Or maybe someone back yard and their bird feeders? Once a animal has a taste of good ole human provide food, they will always go back to it. Weather it is a deer, a coon, a fox, or a bobcat. They will always come back. But unlike the oil we burn every day as gas, fur is a renewable resource that we can use. And we can now a days gain this fur in a humane way. As you can tell, I am an ADC part time. (Animal Damage Control) I do not apply my trade in public, as people don’t want to know, they just want the problem gone. And I don’t and want start moving animals down the road, as they will become someone else problem or they will die because they can’t find any human food to eat.

They are not looking at you, they want to watch TV with you. Pop some pop corn and invite them in. I am sure you can find something they are wanting to watch.

You put out a corn feeder they will find sooner or later. They can be a pain but I still like to watch them. Thanks for sharing the pics.
