Im wonderin if this is a good river. Its like a creek and is very clean, so i saw.

It is a good river but never heard of any real big cats comming from it.

Its a creek, which i hope its good, but i wanna no if there are any other fish instead of catfish.

I heard that just below the Jackson Lake dam that they wear out Shellcrackers with a poppin cork and a chartreuse poppin lure( I forget the name of it)

The Ocmulgee is a nice little river with very swift water. It has some nice cats in the 20 - 30 pound range with a few in the 40 - 50 range but they are few and far between. If you can find the right holes you can fill a cooler with 10 pound or below whiskers.

well well well, An Ocmulgee fan. It did look like a nice river from the bridge. How deep is it and do you know where i can catch these fish? Parks, Bridges, etc.

Where are you going in from I have fished the Ocmulgee aroun Houston co. from the banks and had very little luck let me know how you do :cool:

I dont live there anymore but more house is rite next to the chattahooche! :D
